Meet the team
Desmé Designs was established in 2017 by designer and owner Desmé Klopper, following a successful career in fashion and design.
Located in Randburg, South Africa, we specialize in creating functional, well-crafted and sustainable uniforms for the hospitality industry across Africa and beyond.
Unlike catalogue-based companies, we’re a full-service design and manufacturing house. Driven by our passion for simple creativity and our commitment to excellence, we collaborate closely with our clients to develop uniform solutions that are both stylish and functional.
“We are committed to using natural fibres or fabrics with a high cotton content in our uniforms. When uniforms reach the end of their usability, they are donated to underprivileged communities surrounding the lodges. In addition, we donate our factory off-cuts to Africa Foundation (non-profit organization), where they support sewing programs that teach valuable skills and empower local communities.”
